Share a summary of your trip expenses

Peanut Split creates a recap from the expenses in your trip room. You can view it during the trip and share it as an image once the room has expenses and every balance is zero.
The totals cover what was entered in the room. If flights or personal purchases were tracked elsewhere, they will not be included.
What the card shows
The recap includes the total spent in the room's currency, the number of expenses and people, and the calendar days from the first expense to the last. It also shows the number of recorded payments and who paid the most towards the group's expenses.
That last figure describes money paid up front, which can differ from a person's own share of the trip. The card does not show individual balances or what anyone owes.

You can view a summary while balances are still open. The settled stamp and share button become available once the room has at least one expense and every balance is zero.
Share the image
Use the recap's share button to send the card through your phone's share options. The image prints peanutsplit.com and does not include your room address.
Keep the room link within the group. Anyone with it can open the room and add expenses. The recap page's address contains that same access link, so copying its address is not a suitable way to share a summary publicly.
The card is useful for a quick overview. If you want to check an individual expense, return to the room's list.

- Can I view a recap before the trip is settled?
- You can view a trip recap while there are still open balances. Sharing becomes available after the room is settled.
- Why is there no share button on an empty room?
- A room needs at least one expense as well as zero balances to count as settled. An empty room does not meet those conditions.
- Can someone open my room from the shared image?
- The image contains the product domain, not the room link. It does show the group totals and who paid the most, so check the card before choosing where to share it.
